Statement: My mission as an artist is to help make others more aware of naturally occurring beauty. I hope to redefine the relationship between organic & manufactured materials by manipulating them in such a way that the finished image transcends its parts. I am inspired by the complex simplicities found in nature & am motivated by the constant threat imposed upon its existence. This theme is consistently represented in my work. By allowing materials to dictate their purpose I'm able to create pieces with boundless possibilities. |
