Gemini, May 22 – June 21. The third sign of the zodiac, the first air sign, the first double sign, the first mutable sign, likened to adolescence, (ages 14 -21 – remember that scary ride?) The relation to adolescence and being a double sign indicates the need for a partner. Ruled and heavily affected by the planet Mercury, the winged messenger of the gods, his influence is one of change and mutability.

Gemini, like a young child or youth, may have trouble sticking to decisions, they may prefer to flit like a butterfly to and from beautiful flowers without sticking around very long on any particular one. Mercury allows Gemini to be adaptable, versatile and able to handle sudden reversals of direction.

Good advise, for those of us who are also under Mercury’s power this time of year and are flitting around without any solid commitment, is to mentally force yourself to focus, it will require great strength and discipline, but now is the time to plant dream seeds of good intentions, and tend to them daily – check back in September and you’ll see you reap what you sow, so ~ get busy in the garden of Life!
